Oops!

Out in Oklahoma a while ago I was driving along a flat, two-lane road admiring the rows of gleaming  windmills as far as the eye could see when I spotted one that just didn’t look as sparkling white as the others.

So I found some dirt road detours and got close enough to see that yes, something was amiss.  The whole hub had been gutted and the blades charred by what must have been one spectacular fire.

    Good to hear from you. I wonder what actually goes on in those windmills. Must be a very powerful machine, very violent.
