This Osprey was kind enough to pose for me today near Munyon Island at MacArthur Beach State Park in North Palm Beach, FL.
Apparently this is a pretty common osprey ‘pose,’ as evidenced by the photo below, taken in my backyard in 2005:

We can’t all be in FL in the winter, the planet would tip. Glad you’re helping with the balance. Small world department: I paddled with a guy today who lives in NH and does some hikes with the AMC up there. He didn’t know you though.
