You’re Invited!

Hi Friends.

If you’re in Southeast Florida and want to hear and see more about the 75-mile, 2012 River of Grass Canoe Expedition, May 10 at the Palm Beach County Library in Lantana is where you want to be.  Yes, you will see me, presenting some photos about the trip, but BETTER YET, you will hear from the leader of the expedition and representatives from the sponsoring Marshall Foundation and the South Florida Water Management District, telling you about the larger picture of these multi-year expeditions and the details of the Everglades  Restoration program.  There will also be a short video about the voyage and plenty of time for questions. It should be a great educational program.

WHEN: Thursday May 10, 2012. 6:30 p.m.

WHERE: Palm Beach County Library (Lantana Branch) 4020 Lantana Road, Lake Worth.

I wish Palm Beach was closer to NYC. I’d be there for your 75 mile River of Grass Canoe Expedition and Everglades Restoration Project lecture or would invite you to take part in the Hutchinson River Restoration Project’s event at the Pell Wildlife Sanctuary on Sunday, Sept. 23rd, here in NY, where volunteers, such as myself and my Anne Hutchinson and other Westchester DAR chapters, will venture out in canoes and other boats to clean up the area.~April Sandmeyer
